Silverline Helicopters operates from the Holland Landing Airpark (CLA4) just north of Newmarket, Ontario. This location provides a very diverse training environment with confined areas, both in bush and marshlands, on our doorstep.
The fact that the airfield is uncontrolled eliminates air traffic control delays which can substantially add up when training at a busy airport.
To expose students to a busy airspace environment, some training is done at controlled airports throughout the GTA.
Silverline's operation is housed in a state-of-the-art hangar facility with dedicated ground school and flight planning areas.
The Holland Landing Airpark
The Holland Landing Airpark (CLA4) is privately owned and operated. It is situated on 42 acres in the Town of Holland Landing, just 3 miles north of Newmarket, Ontario and 5 miles south of Bradford, Ontario. It is home to a very large heated hangar, approximately 30,000 square feet.
This highly maintained, diverse airpark is ideally situated and provides the best of both worlds. To the south is the busiest airspace in Canada and to the north is the uncluttered Canadian northland.
Holland Landing Airpark offers one paved runway with a fully paved taxiway and apron. Runway 08/26 is 2000' long. The airpark and airspace is uncontrolled and communication is broadcast to Holland Landing traffic on 123.2 MHz.
